The transition from the high energy and freedom of summer into the shorter and darker days of fall can bring about mixed emotions. During this weekend retreat we will embrace the change by expressing our gratitude for those long summer months, and by welcoming the idea of slowing down, and the opportunity to turn inwards that fall and winter bring.

Sweat, stretch, breathe

Everyone has a different reason for joining a yoga retreat. I invite you to let go of any judgements, preconceived ideas, or expectations you might have. Allow yourself to be open, to play and to explore. To surrender and to go inwards. To connect: to yourself, to nature – and to Your True Nature. To enjoy the feeling of being in a body that can sweat, stretch and breathe.

Nothing worth having comes from staying in your comfort zone

During this weekend yoga retreat you will sweat in a powerful vinyasa flow. Maybe you will find stillness and connect during our guided meditations. Or maybe you will confront unconscious thoughts. You might discover things about yourself you didn’t know were there. You might do something you never thought you could do in our skills and alignment class. Everyone’s experience will be completely different depending on your own personal journey. But what I can guarantee, is that you will leave the weekend yoga retreat feeling recharged: Relaxed and at peace, yet invigorated and alive.

Surround yourself in nature:

Mulvarra is set in a magical hilly landscape which surrounds the ancient monastic site of St. Mullins, the jewel of the River Barrow.

Rest & Recharge:

All rooms are twin except for one triple, each with ensuite and shower in each bathroom. All but two have their own balconies, and all but one host astounding views of The Barrow River & St. Mullins.

Nourish :

Whether we eat outside on the garden deck, or in the cozy dining room, take in the amazing mountain and river views while nourishing your body with Linda’s delicious plant-based meals. All meals and snacks included.

Practice:

The weekend will be a mix of strong vinyasa flows, gentle restorative classes, breath-work, guided meditations and journalling. An alignment and skills workshop will allow you to understand correct alignment and go deeper into those challenging poses. If the weather permits we will take our practice outside to the large deck, bathing in the open air and expansive views.
